...when you press a ball of snow between your cold bare hands, squeezing until your fingertips and the bases of your palms meet, letting all the excess snow fall away from the exterior, the snow shape that is left when you remove your hands resembles the human heart.


This observation was from a few days ago, but I thought of it again when I saw this image of a sculpture by Kate MacDowell today.
